Strategic Planning

We have been commissioned to write major strategic reports for Arts Council England and VisitBritain, as well as for local authorities, universities and individual arts organisations.

We focus on the organisation’s mission and we undertake extensive consultation with stakeholders so that we understand all the external and internal issues which might impact on the delivery of this mission.

We have been working with the Anvil Arts Executive Committee to produce the new Strategic Plan for the Anvil Concert Hall and the Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke, and we have recently completed a major strategic review of culture for the City of Portsmouth.

We have undertaken Strategic Planning for:

• The new Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot
• The Old Vic and their new Backstage annex
• The City of Portsmouth, which included writing a new Cultural Strategy for the city and setting up a development agency, Portsmouth Creates
• The University of Exeter’s arts provision including the Northcott Theatre
• Anvil Arts in Basingstoke, the operating Trust of the Anvil Concert Hall and the Haymarket Theatre
• The Novium Museum, Chichester
• Malvern Theatres
• The White Rock Theatre in Hastings
• The Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells
• Trestle Theatre Company
• The Corinium Museum in Cirencester
• Errol White Dance Company, Edinburgh
• Golden Grove, Carmarthenshire, contemporary art gallery and sculpture park
• Be United, providing opportunities for Black artists working in the creative sector in Scotland
• Everyone Active: successful bids to undertake the operation of the Alban Arena, the Eric Morecambe Centre, the Gordon Craig Theatre and The Grove Theatre
